There are two payment methods in Switzerland to pay with your mobile device:
Method 1: Pay in a store.
- The cardholder must first "swipe" their card onto the POS device at the cash register in order to use one of these devices.
- The second step is when the cashier asks the cardholder to enter their PIN. The input of the payment amount is required from the cardholder.
- After the cardholder signs the receipt to finish the payment process, the cashier will monitor the transaction's progress and notify them when it is successful.
Method 2: online payment.
When checking out your online purchases, you can use PayCEC as a payment gateway option.
- Step 1: Make purchases, then pay via PayCEC by selecting it as your preferred payment gateway option.
- Step 2: Tap the Next or Expand Menu buttons next to your default card to pay with additional cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex...).
- Step 3: Add your billing, shipping, and contact information if necessary. Save your data so you won't have to type it in again.
Use Touch ID, Face ID, or your passcode (OTP via SMS or Private key) to confirm the payment in step 4 of the process. You will see Done and a tick on the screen once your money has been accepted.
